Aeonium Balsamiferum

Perfect for the winter time!

Native to the Canary Islands and Northern Africa, the sap of these succulents were used by the Guanche tribe for mummification. Now, they are best known for their amazing scent when their fuzzy rosettes open up during cooler climates. They close up like green rose buds during the summer. They grow in a more shrub-like manner and like it most in light shade.

I'm not being melodramatic when I say these smell incredible.
